The artwork for this shirt came from artists in Japan that hand silk screened and painted exquisite art work

Condition: Excellent! As with items from this time there are a few faint signs of use, a small pin hole size wear mark on the back of the collar. The button holes are all in great shape no loose seams or repairs.

All other shirts from this time and maker are in private collections, we could'nt find a single one for sale.
Notes on maker: McInerny's was formed in 1840 Out in the middle of the Pacific. During this time entrepreneurs pioneered, opening new factories in Honolulu, then in the Trust Territory of the United States. By the late 1930’s "Aloha" shirts were increasingly mass-produced and a growing selection of brands and labels were available. Aloha shirts were worn after a day at the beach in Waikiki, or to an evening moonlight luau and returned Stateside as a cherished keepsake and reminder of carefree island experiences.
